World war[]
After world war 2 Masaru Ibuka started a radio repair shop in a bomb damaged department store in nihonbashi of Tokyo. It was bomb damaged because of the bombs in world war 2. Masaru Ibuka was the co-founder of sony. The next year he was joined by his colleague Akio Morita. They later made a company called Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo K,K. ( Tokyo Telecommunications Engineering Corporation.) The company built japans first tape recorder.
1945[]
1945 was the year sony started. They made no inventions that year and where not even called sony at the time.
Early inventions[]
Even though sony had made no inventions in 1945 they made the Type-G in 1946. The type-G was the first tape recorder in japan.
